Volvo V40
Today was the first time I really paid attention to the way the creases work around the nose of the V40, particularly the one flowing from the A pillar through the hood and down into the bumper to eventually frame a nonexistent air intake. It's actually rather well done. Even if said nonexistent intake is a somewhat lazy way to structure the bumper.Too bad though that their pedestrian airbag apparently necessitates rather large gaps between hood and fender. And even though the nose is not quite as comically long as that of the new Mercedes A-Class, there's still a very substantial front overhang. Only Citroen ever managed to make that work as part of their design language. Most of the time it just seems ungainly and bulky.
